Divine Decree
A piece to capture the heart of a nation...

Divine Decree Interview:
Let me take you on a journey....

... Make your own declaration for life.
Divine Decree Timelapse:
Hello!
I am so excited to share with you this unique artwork. Divine Decree is a pastel painting created by yours truly. This painting was conceived during prayer. Throughout the year-long creation process, this baby took form layer by layer. As a Master Pastel artist, I love to use chalk pastels to create artwork. If you are wondering what "pastels" are, imagine sidewalk chalk you may have used as a child. This chalk is just like the pastel sticks I use as an artist. It is dirty and dusty, yet I love every part of it.
As you look at the painting, you are welcome and encouraged to define each symbol personal to you. What stands out to you? One piece of the artwork that holds multiple meanings is the teardrop shape in the background. The teardrop symbolizes the womb and the tears I experienced when I first encountered this vision. Yet it can provide symbolism so much more.
I desired to create an experience through this painting that you feel, hear and see the heart of this nation. Like the baby's multi-ethnicity skin tone, we are all part of this beautiful country.
Are you asking what's next? Well, this painting is only the beginning. When I look ahead, I see a gallery filled with variations of this piece. I desire to recreate this painting with flags of other nations and other ethnicities. Let's do this! Contact me today if you want to take this stand for life.
Until next time. Live Inspired,
Jordan Hay
